How IdeaHub handles your data
Effective date: November 8, 2026. Privacy and support: bylt4ai@agentmail.to.
What you save
IdeaHub stores captures, source links, notes, attachments, organization, saved articles and workflow state on your iPhone. It may derive local text and analysis from material you choose to save. Source and provenance information remain with results for review.
Google account and Drive
If you connect Google Drive, IdeaHub uses your Google account identity to bind its files to that account. It requests the drive.file scope, which covers files the app creates and files you explicitly select for it. It does not request access to every file in your Drive. IdeaHub creates private files and folders in your account and reads curated feed files from IdeaHub/Newsfeed/Incoming. It does not make those files public.
The current Drive mirror includes eligible app data under the app’s per-item export settings. Older local-only or review-required captures and drafts may remain only on the phone. Turning on Drive sync in this version is not a complete backup or a guarantee that every local record can be rebuilt from Drive. A future full-data sync needs separate review of older records before changing their privacy setting.
Articles and other websites
Home shows article titles, short summaries, source links and editorial context prepared by the IdeaHub news publisher. Opening a source visits the publisher’s website, which has its own terms and privacy practices. Bookmarking an article creates a local capture with source and edition provenance.
Optional processing
On-device processing stays on your iPhone when that capability is available. If you enable an AI server, choose its address and model, and allow server processing for a saved item, IdeaHub may send that item’s source text and supported images to the server you configured. The server’s operator controls its retention and deletion practices. You can change or disable that route in the app.
If you use the reviewed cloud processing route, an approved Drive original may be read by your connected Work automation and its result may be written to private Google Docs or Sheets in your account. Process Now sends only job and file identifiers to your reviewed Slack route. Local-only or review-required records are not exported without a separate approval transition.
Your choices and retention
You can disconnect Drive in IdeaHub to stop new app Drive operations and sign out locally. A separate revoke choice asks Google to revoke access; the app reports if it cannot verify revocation. Neither choice deletes files already in your Drive.
Local captures remain until you move them to Trash and, if you choose, purge them. Private Drive files remain in your Google account until you manage them there or use a documented app deletion feature. Google sign-in credentials are held by the iOS sign-in SDK and Keychain. IdeaHub uses device storage protections and account-bound checks for its feed cache and Drive operations.
